# pitupitu

> Start, check on and unblock Claude Code and Codex by voice, from your phone, on any of your machines. Sessions run in herdr, so your desk sees what your phone does; on your own subscriptions, and the connector is open source.

pitupitu is a voice foreman for the coding agents people already use. You talk from a phone or desktop page; it starts Claude Code or Codex sessions on whichever of your machines fits, watches them, answers what it can, and tells you in short spoken updates when they finish or need you. Use it in the car, on a walk, or anywhere away from the keyboard.

## Getting started

1. Install the open-source connector on each machine where your agents run:
   `curl -fsSL https://pitupitu.chat/install | sh`
or, with Homebrew (macOS, Linux): `brew install klarluft/tap/pitupitu`
pitupitu runs your agents in herdr (https://herdr.dev), the open-source terminal multiplexer, and installs herdr when it is missing.
2. Link the machine: `pitupitu setup` prints a code; approve it from any screen. No keys to paste. It finds the agents you have and the projects you worked in lately.
3. Talk: open https://pitupitu.chat/app on your phone or desktop and say what you want done and where. Lock the phone; announcements still reach your headphones.

A coding agent can do the setup itself: `pitupitu --skill` prints the instructions it needs.

## Pricing

- **Trial**: $0, 30 minutes of talking, no card. Enough to find out whether it fits your day. Use them within 30 days.
- **Starter**: $18/month, 300 minutes of talking a month ($0.06/min). A month of daily commutes. Unused minutes carry over one month.
- **Top-up**: $10 for 100 extra minutes of talking ($0.10/min). For a heavy week. Top-up minutes last 12 months.

Minutes count while you talk and while pitupitu speaks. Plan minutes are spent before top-up minutes, so the ones that lapse first go first. There is no unlimited plan: every minute of speech is paid for. The agents' own usage runs on your own Claude and Codex subscriptions, not through pitupitu.
